Well then, my adventures at Helsinki is over. My sister returned from Italy this morning and I had to leave from her apartment. Oh phooey.

I had lot of fun there, living in Helsinki. It was quite expensive to live there though, but it was great to be there.

My first week there was peaceful. I went to the centre city, went to see "Star Trek", reading comics, mangas, watching movies... Just relaxing.

On the second week, zardramist came to visit me and stayed with me from Wednesday the 17th - Saturday the 20th. We walked around the city, went to see "Terminator 2" and went to a museum.

On the third week, I just relaxed at the beginning of the week. Went to see "Wolverine" for the third time (heh), shopped, walked around... at the end of the week, zardramist came to stay at my place. 'Cause last weekend, on Saturday the 27th, it was Gay Pride at Helsinki. I met lot of my friends there on that day! And it was my first time at Gay Pride. It was great! The people were awesome, the atmosphere was so awesome! People were singing and having fun! Gays, lesbians, bis, hets.... I was wearing a green shirt that said: "Straight but not narrow" on my back. (Wrote it by myself.) I received couple of cheers and thumbs-up for that! Whee~! ^___^

We stayed at the park, watching and listening to different performances until it got a bit chilly for our liking and had to move on. We met our friends at Tennispalatsi (Tennis Palace). They were at a cafeteria... when suddenly, we just decided to go see "Transformers 2"! We did *not* plan that at all! It just happened! XD Good thing that we did... the movie was great! :D Loved the special effects and the battles! ♥

After that, zardramist, Anu (another friend of Zardra and I) and I went to my sister's place. (dies_sandied went to her friends' place for the night.) We were so tired... =_= But it was a fun day. (Here's the link to the photos we took at Gay Pride. See the photos here~! )

On Sunday the 28th, we (zardramist, Anu and I) just relaxed before going to the centre city. And then went to a park to listen "Tuska" (Pain) summer festival. Didn't quite see what was going on behind the fences, but didn't need to 'cause we could hear pretty well. It was kinda my first experience of being in a festival... ^^; Never been at any live festival concerts... ever. It was nice to see how it was.

*sighs*

And here I am. Back at home in Lahti. Away from Helsinki...
And away from the repairmen and all that noise. XD

Went to see "Wolverine" for the third time, hoping to see the rumoured second ending at the end of the credits. Nope, nada, nothing! Same ol' ending like the two previous times...

*checks from Wiki* Ah! There they say it! Second alternative ending has... Deadpool. XD

Dammit... so gonna buy the DVD once it comes out. ;P Then I can stare at Gambit/Taylor aaaaall day long... XDDDD (And also Hugh.)

Anyway, this is my last week in Helsinki and boy, love the weather here. So sunny and warm... ^__^ Gonna enjoy my time at the outside on this week.

Yesterday, I went for a hour walk. Today, I spent my day at the centre city (again). I tried to look for sandals with a cheap price... found few, but they were no good for my feet or were there my size. *pouts* Then I found good looking ones, but they were *way* too pricey for me! O_o

Typical.

So, I just wandered around to kill some time before going to see "Wolverine". Went to Fennica Comics to see if they got anything interesting. And they did. After looking and searching for Marvel's "Rogue"-comics, I found them from there! OAO Well, the second part of Rogue series "Rogue: Forget-me-not" that has issues #7-12... so I'm still missing the first one "Rogue: Going Rogue". I also bought "X-Men: Fairy Tales" from there, which was much cheaper price than it was in Good Fellows. ^^

Gaaaa... I've spending my money on manga and comics here as much as I have spent money for necessary stuff and food. u_u; Oops. Helsinki does that to a person. Shop until you're out of money. Meep. XD

I might as well have to start drawing commissions again.

Ah, what a week. =D It was a fun week with Anna. Well, half of a week. ^o^

Monday I was still at home, in Lahti. Taking care of personal matters… Originally, I planned to return to Helsinki right at that but the train stations were on a day strike. So, my plans changed with one day and I returned to Helsinki on Tuesday. Soon Tuesday became Wednesday and zardramist arrived to Helsinki~! Yay~!

( June the 17th - June the 20th )

Yup, yup… it was a busy and yet fun week.

This is my second day at Helsinki and so far, enjoying my time here. Today was a good day for me to go to the centre (and away from the noise). I didn't get to go to the all the stores I wanted to go but hey, I got all the time I need to get there. ^^ ♥

Today, though, I mostly walked nearby Kamppi (big mall in Helsinki), went to Blippo from where I bought Kenshin-figure and then went to Fantasiapelit (Fantasy Games) and bought FMA vol 14. I was missing that...

On my way back to Kamppi, I saw Russian soccer fans on the streets... shouting and singing. Soon after that, I saw men in kilts. O_o Good lookings too... *drools*

*ahems* Anyway, I went to Tennispalatsi (Tennis Palace) and got a ticket for Star Trek. Yup! Finally went to see that! I liked it. Though I'm not a die-hard Star Trek-fan, still I managed to recognize few things from the movie that I remember seeing from the TV series and from the previous Star Trek-movies. And yes, now I understand *why* every Star Trek fanfic writers want to pair Spock with Uhura, James Kirk and Dr. McCoy... XDD Omg! That's all I can say...

After the movie, made a quick visit at Ichiban-Sushi and ordered myself a take-away sushi-pack. Hmmm... sushi... looooove iiiit... next time, I have to order the bigger take-away.

Well, back at the apartment and the repairmen are gone for the day. Ah, peace at last.
Now off to have a cup of tea~! ♥

Helsinki. I'm in Helsinki and will be living here for next 3 weeks~! ♥ I'm living at my sister's apartment while she's away in Italy. (Lucky her...)

My dad drove me here and my mom came along with us. She kindly took care of the flowers for me. XDD Once they left, I went to the store to get something to eat for the week and I began to clean up the place. The apartment was filled with dust bunnies~! DX *huff* Oh well, the place was empty for a week, so it's understandable...

So here, I am. The place cleaned up from dust, I'm at the living room watching "Sex and the City"... and one of the repairmen on a balcony. Man, they are working late... O_o (My sister warned me about the repairmen. But didn't expect them to work *this* place... it's 8 pm already.) Hard-working men... XD

Let my Helsinki adventure begin! Whee~!
