zardramist, die_dandles, meablie and I, left from Lahti on a bus at 6 a.m. on Saturday and were at Jyväskylä around 9 a.m. It rained on the first day, but not so hard in the morning as it did later on the day.As soon as we got to Jyväskylä's university area, where Animecon 5 was held, Zardra, Shuji (Sandies / die_dandles) and I went to look for the place for the Taidekuja. Once we got there, we look for the room where we could sell our shounen-ai manga and our own artworks. Saturday we spent at the Taidekuja mostly, but we took turns and went to outside to have a look at the place. Once I left from Taidekuja with Zardra, I was being hugged or taken picture. Because I was cosplaying Yondaime, which was REALLY rare sight for all Narutards there. XDD We managed to get to the main building and bought "few" stuff from there. (You will see the pics of the stuff we got there by clicking on the link after this journal.)
While we were gone, our artworks were selling. ^__^ They were buying them~! Whee~! We managed to sell lot of our own manga and also our artworks on that day. Not to mention that some people reconized our works and got more fans. I feel loved... <3
Once the Animecon was over for Saturday, Zardra and I went to the place where we spent the night. It was only 1,5 kilometers away from university but with the heavy stuff we were carrying around and not to mention for the heavy rain, it seemed like a long journey to there. DX Once we got to the place, there was 200 cosplayers/animecon visitors spending their night at there... O_o Wow... We managed to find a good place where to sleep and they had showers there, but only in the ladies' room, kitchen where you could warm up your own food... We managed to sleep well at there, in our sleeping bags on the floor.
On sunday, was our fun day - no more selling, just looking and buying more stuff. XDD (If possible.) And more and more people spotted me and Zardra, who was dressed up as Jiraiya, asking for hugs and asking for a permission to take a photo - with or without Jiraiya (Zardra). It sure was FUN to be the ONLY Yondaime at the Animecon!! I felt REALLY speacial on these two days!! <3 <3
I also managed to take LOT of the pics of Animecon, but not all of them turned out so well as I thought. Damn. But at least most of them turned out good! Ah!! There Shippuuden Naruto and Sasuke!! <3 Wai~! There was other Naruto Shippuuden cosplayers as well: Hinata, Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, Hidan, Kakuzu, Tobi and Deidara. There was still lot of Naruto cosplayers of the old Naruto characters, even Kyuubi!Naruto and also Naruko! (Too bad that I didn't remember to take a pic of her.) Also there was lot of Bleach, D.Gray-man, One Piece, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts cosplayers... and lots of other random cosplayers. And.. there was two guys who cosplayed Gackt and Jack Sparrow~! Yay!!! <3 I managed to take a pic of them! (Not together, of course.)
We were also at the Shounen-ai and Pornmanga for Women panels. Shounen-ai panel was interesting, even thought they told the same things that I already knew. But some I didn't know. As for the second panel... well, THAT was interesting... they talked about romantic porn for housewife who wants something exciting in their lives... and also... yuri. I still don't like yuri. But the finishing part of the panel was REALLY something to listen: YAOI~! Hehehehehee~!
After the panels, we looked around more and bought more stuff. X3 There was an interesting games they played... ANIME CHESS and ANIME TWISTER! *lol* *lol*
When Zardra and I were about to think that we couldn't go to watch the cosplayer-groups' contest, our friends came to us and asked, if we wanted to have few extra tickets for the contest. Both of us were really happy about this and of course, we took the tickets (which didn't even cost to anything). Thank you Emma~! ^o^ There was interesting cosplayer-groups at the contest: Bleach, Prince of Tennis, Naruto (Shikamaru's Team~!), One Piece, Pokémon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Weed, Sailor Moon, a crossover cosplayers, some anime characters that I didn't know and two Jpop/Jrock cosplayers (don't remember who they were). The winner of the contest was the cosplayers of Prince of Tennis. XD Figures, after hearing how wild the audiance became once the Tenipuri cosplayers came out. XDD I have taken photos of the contest as well, but they are as good as I thought they were so... I can't show them. At all. X3 Sorry.
Ah man, what a feeling it was to be there. It saddened me that we had to go home from there. Zardra and I took out stuff that we left and went to get us something to eat at the SubWay. Once we got the food, we went to the bus station, got us Pepsi drinks and went to wait for the bus. As we waited, we ate our missed food. While we ate and waited for a bus, one of the salewomen from Animecon arrived to the station and began to orginazed her stuff in better order. Suddenly, she asked, if we would like 4 anime-sticker arks for ourselves? We took them, since they were for free because some of them were "damaged" or they just didn't fit into her boxes or bags. We also got a tiny plastic Mokona from Rayearth, which had a Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle figure in it! I got Tomoe and Zardra got Syoran. ^o^ Yay~! We got them for free~!
*sighs* It's good to be home, but I still wish that I was at the Animecon still. Alas, it's over now and I'm back in home. ;3

Guess what? Guess what?? I got a new MP3 player! I phoned to Markantalo, and asked about the MP3 player. The salesman who was the same one I talked about the MP3 player, recommended to exchange the player to better one. I accepted and went to Syke's Markantalo. My dad took me there. The salesman gave me to opinions: 19€'s MP3 player or 59€'s. I took the latter one and also asked if I could have it with the same price as the previous. It was okay for them. This means that I got a new MP3 player with REALLY cheap price!! Oo Whee~!!! <3 <3
We got another order of the translated manga at DA! \^_^/ Now we really need to translate it XP

Yes, Zardra did act like a pervert... with her Icha Icha YAOI-book! Ack! I forgot to put THAT in here! X3 I will fix that mistake soon. But the fun part happened when we left from there: short Kakashi comes screaming "Jiraiya~!" and then she/he hugged Zardra, saying that Jiraiya is his/her idol and shows her Icha Icha Paradise to Zardra. XDDD I couldn't take a photo of that 'cause I had a heavy backpack on my back and I put my camera way... not to mention we were in a hurry to the bus station. Bummer. :-/
Still, it was a wonderful trip. I loved it~! I WANNA GO BACK!! *huffs* Well, there's always another con coming on February. ^__^ Tracon 4. ^o^ I'm gonna cosplay L then and Zardra will be Watari. XDD
